In 2019, Dua Lipa swept us all off our feet, taking to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon wearing atelier Versace and rocking her iconic two-tone blonde-black hairdo. Fast forward to 2022 and the star ✨dazzled✨ on the show once again – but this time, she debuted a whole new hair look.

The whole thing was pretty iconic, if you ask me. From reclaiming her infamous “lazy” hip dance to surprising an 80-year-old superfan named Papa Richy (lol), not to mention the fluffiest yeti boots we’ve ever laid eyes upon, it was an episode I won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

My favourite part, however, was Dua debuting a new hair transformation. Guess you could say it's my New Love. 🎶 Most recently, the One Kiss singer has even been rocking XXL hair extensions whilst on tour. But for her interview with Jimmy, she ditched the locks for a slick back updo and piece-y full fringe.

Celebrity hairstylist (and the genius behind this look) Chris Appleton took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes selfies alongside Dua and celebrity makeup artist, Mary Phillips. The snaps show the eyebrow skimming fringe and longer chin-length face-framing pieces in all their glory. Paired with thin eyeliner, blushed cheeks, and monochrome pink nails by Nails by Mei, this look is *chefs kiss*.

But, before you go running to the salon for the big chop, it must be noted that this could in fact be a clip-in extension piece. After all, celebs are known for wearing wigs, extensions or clip-ins for a quick-change switcheroo.

Even still, we’re pretty certain this look will be amongst those that we’ll all be loving come spring 2022.
