Calling all manicure and pedicure enthusiasts: A new upscale nail joint, Expert Nails Spa 2, has set up shop in Ship Bottom.

Owners Peter and Tammy Myszka have been in the beauty industry for nearly 20 years. After opening their first nail salon in 2007, the original Expert Nails Spa in Galloway, and finding great success, the Myszkas wanted to expand the business. Tammy had her sights set on Long Beach Island.

“It took us two years to find the appropriate location for our business. That’s when we found the building at 2608 Long Beach Blvd.,” Peter said. “Once we saw it, we knew this was it. It took us almost a year to complete the whole project due to COVID, some restrictions, and getting all the materials on time. We managed to get the place open in 12 months and recently had our soft opening.”

The brand-new nail salon is filled with state-of-the-art equipment, such as a built-in vacuuming system that absorbs all the smells from the shop.

“When you walk in, you won’t be greeted by that intense acetone or nail polish smell at all,” Peter said.

The Myszkas wanted their second salon to be modern and to stand out from the rest. The design is chic and sleek with elegant tile flooring throughout. Guests can enjoy comfortable pedicure chairs with built-in massagers and iPhone chargers, as well as free WiFi during their stay.

The salon offers a variety of different luxurious services. From acrylic to gel fills, spa pedicures and manicures to waxing, Expert Nails Spa 2 is the perfect pampering spot.

“We use high-end products. Everything we use is disposable, so it is never used on multiple customers. It’s very sanitized and very personal,” Tammy said. “For example, for our pedicures, we use Volcano Spa pedicure products. It is an all-in-one personal pedicure set that includes a sea salt soak, sugar scrub, cream mask and massage lotion and more.”

Clients can choose from five pedicure treatments, the spa pedicure with a prolonged foot and leg massage being the most-loved choice. For extra hydrating foot care, clients can select a spa pedicure with Collagen Socks from VOESH New York. These nourishing foot masks lock in moisture, break down tough calluses and feature removable toe tips for polish purposes. Guests can also choose a manicure service with Collagen Gloves to hydrate, soothe and repair dry, cracked hands. Hand masks also feature removable fingertips so clients can moisturize while getting nails painted.

“We are extremely familiar with beauty supply products and companies that offer the best products with skin-loving ingredients. We use only the most expensive and most advanced cosmetics,” Peter said.

When it comes to nail designs and colors, the sky is the limit. With thousands of colors to choose from in regular polish, gel polish or dip powder, clients can create their desired look for any occasion. With such brands as OPI and iGel, the nail polish is long-lasting and high quality and will stand the test of time with minimal chipping.

“We carry matching gel colors for manicures and pedicures so your fingers and toes can be painted the same. A lot of salons just try to find the closest color, but we make sure it is an exact match,” Tammy said.

“All of our nail technicians are licensed and experienced and committed to bringing our customers a unique experience they can look forward to time and time again,” Peter said.

“I truly love to do it and make people happy. When customers’ nails look nice and they are happy, it motivates me and makes me happy,” Tammy said.
